I'm Kelly Hans
Dancing is my passion and I am so excited to take it full time! I choreograph for dance and drill teams across the state of Texas, but I am located in the DFW area. In addition to dance team choreography, I also choreograph solos/ensembles, audition pieces, and instruct private lessons for dancers wanting to reach their goals!

My Story
Growing up in Texas, I obsessed over my high school's drill team and made it my mission to make the dance team. My first year I did not make it! I then worked super hard and ending up making my drill team and then served as an officer my senior year. After high school, I knew I didn't want to stop dancing. I was able to dance for Baylor University on their pom squad for 3 amazing years and served as a captain my senior year. After graduating, I was a member of the Dallas Mavericks Dancers! Being a professional dancer was a huge goal of mine and such an amazing experience!

Throughout my journey as a dancer, I always struggled finding a dance mentor or someone who I could look up to. Most of my instructors did not invest in me. I just felt like a number for them. I would go to so many different private lessons with different instructors where they would leave me in the room while I practiced a skill.... sit on their phone.... or even just make me do the same leap over and over again and I felt like I never got any advice. That has lit me up and truly made me pursue this as a career. My goal if for every single student to always feel loved, listened to, and cared for. When a student enters into my room, whether for a class, private lesson, or choreography, my goal is to create a fun, positive environment where we can all grow. I want my dancers to learn not only new skills, but also how to be kind to others.

For my choreography, being an assistant drill team director really opened my eyes to what is out there. I always come prepared, organized, and excited! I am PASSIONATE about creating crowd pleasing routines that not only the director likes, but the dance team likes dancing. My routines are never "cookie cutter". When you book with me, you are going to get a completely custom routine that is catered to your needs, your team's needs, and what you love. My routines are easy to clean and fun for your team. My goal when working with teams is to give them all the tools they need to be successful; whether that is performing an amazing and creative routine at a football game, winning at Contest, etc.
